By using DayDesk you agree to these terms. The short version: use DayDesk for its intended purpose, don't abuse it, and understand it is provided as-is. Your data is yours — we are just the tool you use to view it.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using DayDesk at daydesk.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use DayDesk.

Description of service

DayDesk is a personal productivity dashboard that connects to your existing Google and Microsoft accounts to display your calendar, tasks, news, finances, and other personal data in one place. DayDesk acts as a display and organization layer — your data remains in your own accounts at all times.

To use DayDesk you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

You retain full ownership of all data you create or store through DayDesk. DayDesk does not claim any rights over your personal data. Your productivity data is stored in your own Google Drive and Microsoft accounts, not on DayDesk servers.

By connecting your Google or Microsoft account to DayDesk, you authorize DayDesk to access the specific data described in our Privacy Policy in order to provide the service.

Third-party services

DayDesk integrates with Google, Microsoft, and other third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. DayDesk is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

AI features

DayDesk's AI briefing feature requires you to provide your own API key from a third-party AI provider such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google. Your use of these AI services is subject to those providers' terms and you are solely responsible for any costs incurred through your API key usage. DayDesk does not store your API key on our servers.

Pricing and payments

DayDesk offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All payments are processed securely through our payment provider. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

Service availability

DayDesk is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee 100% uptime or uninterrupted access to the service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages that temporarily affect availability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance in advance.

Disclaimer of warranties

DayDesk is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DayDesk disclaims all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

DayDesk does not warrant that the service will be error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the service is free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DayDesk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

Because your data is stored in your own Google Drive and Microsoft accounts, DayDesk is not liable for any data loss that occurs within those third-party services.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@daydesk.app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your DayDesk account will be deleted. Your data in Google Drive and Microsoft will not be affected.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of DayDesk after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.
